The licenses

In order to protect your board template, you must select a license when submitting. This page lists the different licenses you can choose from. Each of them is based on the “Creative Commons” licenses, the benchmark for licensing creative works destined to the public domain. For a thoroughly description of the Creative Commons standard, refer to the corresponding Wikipedia page.

Creative Commons - Attribution

  • Licensees may copy, distribute, display and perform the work and make derivative works based on it only if they give the author or licensor the credits in the manner specified by these.

CC-BY-NC

Creative Commons - Attribution - Non-commercial

  • Licensees may copy, distribute, display and perform the work and make derivative works based on it only if they give the author or licensor the credits in the manner specified by these.
  • Licensees may copy, distribute, display, and perform the work and make derivative works based on it only for noncommercial purposes.

CC-BY-SA

Creative Commons - Attribution - Share-alike

  • Licensees may copy, distribute, display and perform the work and make derivative works based on it only if they give the author or licensor the credits in the manner specified by these.
  • Licensees may distribute derivative works only under a license identical to the license that governs the original work. (See also copyleft.)

CC-BY-ND

Creative Commons - Attribution - No Derivative Works
